MOOSEHORN CRIBBAGE BOARD
Handwritten label inside the lid of the wooden case for this cribbage board reads:
"Moose shot back of Ternagami by a Commando Indian in '46. The horn was cut & drilled but was too green & had to be seasoned for a year & then finished in early '48. The wood is Poudouk from the Amazon & is finished in oil only. The little Black pin in cover is from a drift-wood cedar found on shore of Lake Superior. The birch bark is from back of Bear Lake, Ontario, Can." Dick Kruger 1-29-48
